Leeds University Business School is proud to be ranked ninth in the UK for the quality of our research in the most recent Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014. Our research mission is to produce and disseminate world-class research, to increase knowledge, skills, understanding and impact.
We are seeking excellent PhD candidates who are able to contribute to the advancement of knowledge within our Marketing Division and whose scholarship and innovative thinking will help broaden our impact in the global research community.
We are particularly interested in PhD proposals in the following research areas:

• Analysis of consumer heterogeneous preferences and discrete choice analysis
• Retailing and store choice analysis
• Branding and brand equity
• Formulating and implementing sustainability marketing strategies: Bridging the gap
• Marketing strategy making
• Emergent marketing strategy and decision making in marketing organizations
• Corporate responsibility and sustainability
• Green marketing and advertising
• Business ethics
• International marketing
• Cross cultural buyer-seller relationships
• Export marketing strategy and performance
• Sustainable strategies of multinational corporations
• Standardisation/adaptation of international service offerings
• International marketing process standardisation/adaptation

Funding applies to:
Open to applicants from a range of countries
Funding notes:
Number of awards: Up to two Marketing Scholarship awards are available for PhD study commencing in October 2016.
Value of award: tuition fees at the relevant UK/EU or international rate and a maintenance grant.
