Analyzing a national US-American database registering over 5000 lung
resections, Paul and co-workers could show that obesity, defined as a
BMI >30, was not necessarily a risk factor for this kind of surgery.

Although it is rarely true that what is good for adults is also good for
children, it may well be the other way around. This study compared the
"pediatric" cardioplegic solution by Boston’s Pedro del Nido to the good
old Buckberg blood concoction in 142 patients - with the former showing
some advantages.
